Support for Windows 10 comes to an end on 14 October 2025. But does this mean the end of life for your PC or laptop, if it’s not compatible with Windows 11? There is a suggestion that Microsoft will offer continued security patch support (for a fee) for home users – this however has not been confirmed.
Another solution is to use a third party to keep your device securely patched after the end-of-life comes into effect. A company called 0Patch (Zero patch) already offer security patches for older operating systems, and are doing the same for Windows 10. For an annual fee of around 25 Euro (£22), your Windows 10 device can have security patches applied automatically to keep it safe. This is ideal for anyone who has a good spec desktop or laptop, such as a 5th, 6th or 7th generation Intel i3, i5 or i7, or a high-end AMD pre-Ryzen system. If your device is older than 7 years, it is suggested you consider getting something newer (checkout my refurbished desktops and laptops!!).

In this lovely part of the world, there are a lot of remote locations where postcodes just don’t cut it! Trying to find you can sometimes be a nightmare – especially in the dark!! I highly recommend the excellent app (and website) – What3Words, who have divided the whole world into three metre sqaures. Each of these squares has a unique set of three words to help anyone locate you (great on the beach or at a festival). If you give me your unique 3 word location, I should be able to find you easily. The front of my house is ///mainland.hobbit.nylon for example.
Payment
To be as flexible as possible, I accept pretty much all payment types – Cash, Cheque Credit/Debit Cards (I have a mobile card machine and you can pay online through the invoice), plus Bank transfer. Business customers get 15 days to pay their invoices. CASH IS KING, SO IS PREFERRED PAYMENT METHOD.

Busy + Price increases
4 Nov 25: Work is still very busy (thanks to all who call/email) - I'm trying my best to keep on top of it all!! Prices for ram, solid state drives and in particular, optical drives (DVD-RW) have gone up drastically over the past month or two, so I've had to tweak the price and upgrades of my popular Matrexx PC build. Prebuilt items such as PC's and Laptop have also moved up in price due to the component increases.As usual, I will be taking quite a bit of time off over December (definitely earnt it this year!!), as I don't tend to take time off during the rest of the year. If you're looking for new tech to replace your aging tech, please bare this in mind and get in touch sooner rather than later. Ade -
A crazy busy year!
11 Sep 25: This year has been full on! A mixture of Windows 10 coming to the end of support, and less techs available in the Sudbury area. This has meant I've not had time to attend to my own website. I've got additional refurb laptops and desktops to add to the site, I've got loads of new products that I've brought in over the past 6 months that I've not advertised at all!Apologies if my replies to emails and voicemails has been a bit slow of late - the amount of work has been overwhelming. and to top it all off, My prices are going to have to rise a little, as I've not changed my hourly rate in over 4 years, and alas, things go up!!I'm going to try and get some new stuff on the site over the next week or so, and get a couple of... -
Closed for a Week

Refurbished Laptops & Desktops
Work continues to be incredibly busy!! My Matrexx 30 PC's (built by me) and the 14" Dynabook Laptops are both proving to be very popular due to the need to move from older devices (Windows 10 coming to the end of life in October this year) and the extremely competitive prices of these items, means I'm constantly buying components for the desktop and to top up the stock of the laptops!!On that note, I have finally got around to replenishing stocks of Refurbished items for both laptops and desktops. The turn around of these items has been rapid (for the same reasons as the new items above), so keep checking back for the current stock range. -
Busy Busy Busy!
21 Feb 2025: It's been quite a while since I posted news to the site! It's been so busy for the past 5 or 6 months that certain things (like the website) have been pushed back constantly. I've got many new products available and also want to add so much more of my stock to the online store (my little site gets found by more people than I realise!!). I'm hoping to try and book a few hours to get the site updated - especially as this year, the end of support will leave many users with questions and choices.
